Making clothes

A very frustrating day! I only have this one summer outfit and even this is not that cool so I decided to try to make myself some clothes. But I ended up spending most of the day trying to make what looked like a very simple T-shirt jersey dress. I think I used material that was too stretchy and it ended up going all out of shape…

 

I followed a pattern from my magazine Dolly Dolly – I bought this when I was in Japan earlier this year- but I’ve I ended up with something that looks completely different to the picture in the book. I was trying to make a jersey T-shirt dress but ended up with a half-finished kimono type top! I had to give up and there’s no way I can wear this. So I think I’m going to have to pay a visit to Dongdaemun market tomorrow to buy some clothes instead…All the outfits in the magazine look so cute I really want to make them but it’s not so easy!I was planning to make something like this (below left). And ended up with this (below right) Don’t ask me how! It took so long I haven’t even finished the hems yet. I don’t even know if I can make this outfit work. It’s all out of shape now. AHHHH! This is driving me crazy!
