Preparing for Korean cooking

You know you’re in Korea when you have to peel a bowl of garlic that’s almost as big as you are! Actually It’s possible to buy tubs of garlic already crushed from the supermarket which is very convenient – garlic is essential for Korean cooking after all! But I was given a bag full of lovely garlic from the allotment so I’ve separated the cloves and now all I have to do is peel and chop…!
