Saying Merry Christmas through the medium of muffins

For Halloween there were poo shaped ghosts and Pig devil monster muffins. But at Christmas the Manoffin muffin shop is offering Santa bears and chocolate ginger bread men.

For a festive treat how about a snowman with a yuzu citrus muffin, an Oreo chocolate biscuit gingerbread house on a chocolate muffin, or a chocolate gingerbread man on a black tea muffin?

On the day I was at the shop, they only had ONE muffin left. It was just after lunch and this one poor, lonely gingerbread man was sitting all by himself on the shelf.

But when they are not sold out, they also have santa bears on a green tea muffin,  snowflakes on a chocolate chip muffin…

Whatever you’re eating this holiday season, have a great Christmas and New Year.

See you in 2017!

Merry Christmas! Our traditional Christmas desserts in Puerto Rico have one thing in common: coconut. From coconut rice pudding to a sweet coconut rum drink called coquito. Back home theres a particular palm tree in our backyard that produces great quality coconuts and has been used for decades in our cooking. ¡Feliz Navidad!
